Title: Administrative Assistant to Ministry Staff

Job Description:

The role of Administrative Assistant to Ministry Staff is a supportive position to the ministry pastors and directors of ministry, providing each with assistance to various information and tasks as requested. The administrative assistant is responsible for regular weekly office reports and duties, as well as, interacting with staff, church members, and visitors for the well-being of the church body.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide ministerial support to Pastors and Directors
• Attitude of pleasant helpfulness and ability to maintain confidentiality
• First contact with phones and greeting of members, visitors and vendors
• Assist church members with information and/or requests
• Prepare weekly printed Bulletin and the online Bulletin
• Prepare weekly ABF and youth attendance rolls and maintain weekly statistics, Vital Signs
• Maintain and update church membership records• Maintain an updated Church Calendar
• Order and maintain office supplies, copier supplies, coffee service, postage meter
• Staff and Support Staff church anniversary recognitions
• Maintain Hospital/Funeral board

Personal and Spiritual Responsibilities: Uphold and embrace the stated vision and biblical priorities outlined in the Founders Baptist Church Statement of Faith & Constitution, including:
• Being a faithful, covenant member of Founders Baptist Church along with spouse,
• Growing in a personal relationship with Christ, relationship with spouse, relationships with children (if applicable),
• Submitting to the oversight of the elders and Senior Pastor, and
• Financially supporting the work of the church.

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 8:30am to 12:30pm (can be modified for a qualified candidate)
• Start Date: February–March, 2023


• $13.50/hour, 20 hours/week
